25th Anniversary Commemoration
Braham Giani Sant Baba Tara Singh Ji (1927 - 1987)
2012 marks the 25th anniversary of the passing of the great religious illuminary, Sant Baba Tara Singh ji of Sarhali - the far-sighted founder of the Sampardai who worked tirelessly to uplift the people of the area through various sewa projects as well as religious discourses.

One of the projects, aimed at providing quality education to rural students, was Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College, Sarhali, which is now the best rural college in Punjab.

Other projects include the construction and refurbishment of historial Gurdwaras, free kitchens (langgar), sarovars and medical facilities.
